There’s a new crew in town, they know how to throw down ….
I’ve skipped ahead a little bit just to see if I can successfully post YouTube video to my blog and, whaddya know, it’s a snap. Just followed the handy WordPress FAQ.
I actually have an ulterior motive for doing so. I’m going to be doing a conference presentation in October and I would like to feature a number of YouTube clips in the presentation. I want to be able to share my clips with my fellow panelists and I want to be able to present the links in a handout afterwards. So I consulted Guru Bob and we discovered that clickable YouTube URLs could be imported to both MS Word Documents and into PowerPoint presentations. A word about PowerPoint, however: the URLs won’t be clickable until you start the slide show.
I’m still debating on how best to organize my clips to share with my panelists. Possibly de.li.cious is a solution. I will have to check it out when I get there.

True confession time: I am old enough to remember the Lorne Greene version of Galactica and I had a crush on young Richard Hatch who played Apollo. Other girls liked Dirk Benedict who played bad boy Starbuck, but I went for the straight arrow Apollo. *Sigh* Yes, I apparently I was destined to be a librarian …..
