I can see the value of using a wiki with restricted access to do collaborative projects to share resources, plan an event, or create a document by committee. I particularly liked the Library Success: A Best Practices Wiki which I thought was a stroke of genius. I know that I will be reading–and possibly–contributing to it in the near future. It would be great to set up something similar for oral history archivists who are frequently left to flounder on their own where their collections are concerned and I think I shall propose just that to some of my oral historian colleagues.
