Today’s selection is the title track from the new James Bond flick, “Skyfall”. If you haven’t already seen this movie, I highly recommend it. “Skyfall” is very haunting and morally ambiguous. “I think I must have Icelandic ancestry – I haven’t researched it, this is completely unofficial, I just feel very at home there. Or, the further north I go the more at home I feel. I went to Hawaii in the spring and I thought “this is paradise, why don’t we all live here” but I confessed to myself that I don’t belong in a tropical environment. Unfortunately, most of the shanties, while catchy, are unsuitable for a family audience ……

And now for a library-related verse:

Why do the patrons love me so?

Away, Santy Anno!

‘Coz I tell them what I know.

Along the plains of Mexico!
